RentToOwnSheds.com connects consumers with shed dealers and the rent-to-own funders that serve them. We are a directory and lead-generation service; we are not a lessor and we do not extend credit.
When you choose rent-to-own, your agreement is between you and the funder (such as RTO National, LLC) arranged through the dealer you select. Your agreement is a rental-purchase / lease-purchase agreement, not a loan or credit transaction. You will not own the building until you have made all scheduled payments or exercised your early purchase option. Ownership through a rent-to-own agreement will cost more than purchasing the building for cash.
You may return the building and end your agreement at any time without penalty. Identity verification is required; approval is not guaranteed; no established credit history is required, but the funder may obtain information from consumer reporting agencies.
Rent-to-own is not currently available in Minnesota, New Jersey, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. State-specific terms apply in California, New York, Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois, Rhode Island, Vermont, and other states; see the funder's agreement for state-specific provisions.
